Village installs and runs 6 bio-gas plants

Our volunteers conducted a one week training on making a bio gas plant in Zarda village in the hilly Aravalli region. Now, local masons can now build these plants by themselves in Zarda and in neighbouring villages. Our volunteers also showed them how to apply and make use of a government subsidy of Rs. 12000 for each bio gas plant. This, along with other on-going projects, will go towards making the framers independent and self-reliant. Under the guidance and tireless efforts of Suresh ji, who lives and work full time with the farmers, this village is a project in ensuring farmers' incomes do not depend only on their crop, and they have sustainable and reliable sources of income.
